Limes is the Italian Review of Geopolitics, a bimonthly published in Rome since 1993.
The aim of Limes is to analyse conflicts – political, cultural or military – in specific spaces. We base our analysis on maps which represent the reasons and the goals of the geopolitical actors involved in the conflict. We are open to diverse, evenconflicting points of view. We do not presume to establish any “scientific law” nor to sell any truth. You will find in our pages writings by both analysts (historians, economists, geographers, journalists) and decision makers (political leaders, entrepreneurs, managers), which makes Limes radically anti-academic in its approach.
Limes is now the leading Italian publication in its area of studies. We have a vast network of correspondents all over the world, from America to Africa, from Europe to Asia and Australia. Limes is also organizing international seminars and workshops, from China to Turkey, from America to Spain. We have two sister publications: Heartland, in English, and Limes Plus, in Serbo-Croat.
